The building

Somebody's barn, once.

It sat derelict behind Holy Trinity Church until 2015, when it was taken apart and put back together properly.

What survived is the good part. The brickwork was left exposed rather than plastered over. The A-frames still hold the roof up, open to the ridge, and now there are Edison bulbs hanging off them and a bar underneath.

It is not a hotel function suite and it does not pretend to be one. It is a barn in the middle of a Northamptonshire market town, and for one day it belongs entirely to you.

The space

Front door to
last orders.

Three areas that run into one another: arrive at the bar, eat and dance in the main room, and open the doors onto the courtyard when the weather allows.

  1. The Bar

    The entrance area holds the main bar, under the original A-frames and exposed brick. It is the room people gather in before anything formal starts, and drift back to afterwards.

  2. The Main Room

    Large enough for a wedding breakfast and a dance floor without choosing between them. Bi-folding doors run along one side and open straight onto the courtyard.

  3. The Courtyard

    Usable through the warmer months as an outdoor room, or covered with a marquee to extend the main room when the weather is less obliging.
